Online Survey - Paid or Free?

Online Survey - Paid or Free?

Let me begin this article by saying it is possible to complete an online survey and get paid for your opinion. It is a fact that thousands of work from home entrepreneurs are getting paid big time for completing surveys, participating in focus groups, and even to preview movie trailers!

Why would companies pay you for giving your opinion? Because they need your opinion as part of their market research to determine which products to sell and to what markets. It also helps them to improve their products to existing markets in order to improve their profit margin.

Now believe you me, the companies that pay you to complete an online survey are already making money, they just understand that doing a survey to find out what people like or dislike can make them even more profitable.

Here is where you and I come in; we fill out the online survey and get paid, we're happy and the company providing the survey gets the information they need. Win-Win! Don't you love it! (Especially the we get paid part)

The question now is how do I access these surveys and begin to make money? In order to receive offers to do an online survey or to participate in an online focus group you must be signed up and have a profile with each company. If you fit the right profile you will receive offers from them in your email.

There are hundreds of companies available but how do you find them, and how can you be sure you are not wasting your time? You must sign up with a service that will provide you with access to these companies or you will be spinning your wheels. You have 2 basic alternatives:

1. Free Online Paid Survey Websites

There are plenty of these sites available on the web that can be located by doing a google search. The problem with many of these sites is that they provide you with access to a database of companies that may or may not be updated. Furthermore they usually come with little or no support and guidance on how to maximize your profitability; after all you get what you pay for.

2. Online Survey Websites (fee based)

These sites charge a fee to access their compiled database of online survey companies. This is usually a one time fee of 30-35 dollars that covers access to a compiled and updated database, tips and or tutorials on how to turn your online survey venture into a profitable home business, and bonuses that are usually worth more than the access fee!

One of the top sites I have found providing this service can be found here at the below address:

http://www.singlesource4ebooks.com/online-survey.htm

They even provide you with an instant $25.00 survey upon joining their site just to get you started! I highly recommend you take a look at what they have to offer.

So there you have it, one mans opinion. Now you can do your own due diligence and check out which method will benefit you most. One thing is for sure; online surveys can be a profitable home business that will provide a very nice part time or full time income. Here's to our success.

Reactivate Lapsed Donors With A Direct Mail Fundraising Survey.

A proven way to reactivate lapsed donors is to ask them why they have stopped giving.

You can do this with a survey that you enclose in your mailing. Or you can leave space on the reply device for a few questions. According to Stephen Hitchcock, in his book, Open Immediately! Straight Talk on Direct Mail Fundraising, asking lapsed donors why they are no longer giving will generate some useful answers, and a sizeable percentage of the donors will mail back a gift.

You can use this new information to prevent other donors from lapsing. Review again the reasons that donors stop giving, found earlier in this handbook, to think up the kinds of questions you can ask in your survey to elicit each donor's reason for dropping support.

If you prefer, make the survey entirely qualitative, and ask questions that require original answers and not a simple checking off of a box on the survey form.

Whichever method of survey you employ, use the survey questions to discover the otherwise unknown--why your donors lapsed. Maybe the fault lies with you. Maybe it lies with the donor. Maybe the economy is at fault. You will never know unless you ask.

One advantage of a survey, if worded well, is that the questions themselves inspire the donor again to support your cause. Let's say, for example, that your organization lobbies the federal government to ban handguns. Your donors, even the ones who lapse, are people concerned about handgun violence to some degree. In your survey, you could include questions like these:

1. True of False? An average of five children are killed each day in gun-related accidents and suicides.

2. True of False? 40% of American households with children have guns.

3. True of False? A gun in the home is 22 times more likely to be used in an unintentional shooting, than to be used to injure or kill in self-defense.

As you can imagine, these survey questions are likely to provoke the same anger among decent, concerned lapsed donors that moved them to mail you their first and successive gifts. Survey questions like this prompt lapsed donors to contemplate your work again, thing again about who you help, and ponder the need you meet, and the role that the lapsed donor has in making the world a better place by giving again.

The basics of paid surveys

Why do companies conduct surveys? To top it, why do companies pay for participating in a survey? This small write-up will help you understand the basics of survey and the paid form of surveys.

Survey is nothing but data or information collection. This information is processed to arrive at a useful conclusion. This useful conclusion may be in the form of new product or better customer service or larger distribution network. All of this is done to enhance customer satisfaction about a product. Surveys are essentially statistical in nature. The non-statistical approach to people's opinion is termed focus group interviews. Focus group interviews hover around qualitative aspects of people's opinion about a product. Surveys are conducted over a large number of people against very few in case of focus group interviews. Person participating in a survey is called respondent. Questions are asked her regarding her perception about a product. Surveys try to understand overall perception of the population based on the responses of the people surveyed. The group of people surveyed is called sample.

The findings from the sample are treated to be as though these have come from the whole population. For example, survey about new features in a car will have only couple of thousands of respondents across the country. However, the aggregate response from these couple of thousand of people will be treated as if it had come from the whole car owners' population in the country.

Surveys are conducted in various ways - paper, email, snail mail, telephone and online. While each has its own set of pro's and con's, paper surveys have been most popular in the past. With so many surveys being conducted by as many companies, participants have started losing interest and involvement in the process. This has offered the impetus to online surveys where people can fill the questionnaire in their leisure time, and can even think of skipping some. There is no obligation and necessity to complete the surveys. The large number of surveys has discouraged people from participating in surveys. This reason alone has resulted into offering incentives to people to participate in surveys. This is where the story of paid surveys start. paid surveys are voluntary in nature - you need not take part in each and every survey. If you qualify, you are paid for taking part. This is a win-win situation for all the three - participant, research agency and the company for whom survey is being conducted.

Understanding the Healing Energy of Infrared Saunas and Lamps

Ancient healers and modern eastern cultures are well aware of the radiant healing energy of the sun. This knowledge is only recently being appreciated in the west. It is accepted that all energy on the planet comes from the sun. Heat drives the universe. Plants thrive only in sunlight, or under artificial wide spectrum lights. A visit to your local pet store would reveal that reptiles are kept healthy by a constant dosage of infrared heat from infrared lamps. Infrared heat is also used to keep food warm in restaurants. The pork and chicken you buy from the grocery store most likely came from a farm that uses infrared lamps to keep the animals thriving indoors. When a person dies, the breath leaves the body, followed immediately by the loss of all heat. The radiant heat of the body is in the infrared range. Live bodies continually absorb and emit heat, and as previously mentioned, this infrared heat has its origin in the energy of the sun. The balance between the absorption and emission of energy (like the balance between Yin and Yang), is necessary to health. Energy is absorbed by the body is through the intake of food and drink, and also through sunlight. Food, drink and sunlight are all naturally healing entities and necessary for the maintenance of life.

After its discovery in modern times, electricity began to be used for heating and lighting by the means of currents flowing though elements or filaments. Electrical heat is widely used to heat homes. What is felt as heat is the body's response to natural electromagnetic radiation emissions. Infrared heat lamps are different from lamps used for electrical lighting because of the design of the filament. The elements used for infrared lamps and heaters use low amounts of energy and heat efficiently. The chemicals in the element of infrared heaters, when heated by electrical currents, emit light in the Near Infrared, Middle Infrared, Far Infrared and Far-Far Infrared spectrums. Near infrared is close to visible light and Far Infrared red is invisible, but for the general purposes, using the word 'infrared' is sufficient. In infrared lamps, the bulb can be clear, red, or frosted inside. (Clear is used to simulate daylight for the reptiles in the pet store and red is used to simulate night). The wattage of electricity is what determines the strength of the infrared heat emitted.

Infrared heaters used in sauna cabinets for sauna purposes are called infrared saunas. Infrared heaters, similar to infrared lamps, pass electricity though chemical based elements to give off electromagnetism in the infrared spectrum. In the infrared saunas, these radiant electromagnetic waves are reflected onto the body. The body is heated by this radiant heat, but the surrounding air is not. Infrared heat is considered safe enough to keep newborn babies in hospitals warm. Therapy in an infrared sauna is called whole body therapy. Therapy using an infrared lamp is aimed at just one specific location.

Using infrared healing, as with any type of healing, must be done with caution. These concerns are all covered in information given in my website. From a universal perspective, infrared healing is safe for almost all people. Having an infrared sauna is a life changing acquisition, and quality is of utmost importance. Infrared saunas of higher quality come with lifetime warranties. No plumbing is required in infrared saunas and once assembled, all that is necessary is to plug them into a normal household outlet. Because this acquisition is a big decision, be sure to purchase one that could be easily disassembled so that you can take with you if you move. Infrared saunas come in different sizes, and can hold different amounts of people

The tradition of using and enjoying saunas is rooted in ancient healing and meditation practices. An infrared sauna can even be used for daily meditation. The benefits of having 15 minutes or so to yourself in a healing environment, away from the cares and worries of the world, de-stressing, is a source of utmost physical, mental and spiritual contentment.

Find out more by visiting www.infraredsaunasandlamps.com Discover if the infrared healing method is for you! Infrared healing is in new guise with infrared saunas and infrared lamps, but this knowledge is as ancient as the sun and these products are presented with pride. This article may be reprinted and reused as long as live links are included intact and there are no alterations.

Reap the healing benefits of infrared heat and light! Take advantage of the healthy benefits of natural sunlight without the dangerous effects of solar radiation by using infrared therapy, infrared saunas, infrared lamps and wide spectrum lamps.

I wish you complete health and happiness!

TEN`s expos? on getting paid for online survey's

Everyone wants to make money with little effort. There are infomercials, books, magazines, and websites promoting how you can make a year's worth of salary in just one week. All you have to do is spend a week's salary to purchase the material that will change your life!

Get rich quick schemes have been around since Cain slew Abel and will be around until the 2nd coming, there's no getting around it. There is also a saying about there being no substitute for good, honest, hard labour.

We decided to take a chance on the internet's latest version of making big money with little work; taking surveys. We noticed the opportunity on Google Ads and clicked to check out www.paidsurveysonline.com. Sites like the aforementioned paidsurveys charge a price for membership to their exclusive money making club. Sites such as these promise to reward you taking just a few hours a day of your time with hundreds of dollars in compensation, or trips, or other prizes. Very leery of giving out my credit card to any Tom Dick or Harry, we decided to look for scams associated with that site. To no one's surprise, a huge list of sites or entrees were found. In reading some of the commentary, some paid survey victims mentioned that you can found the same service for free, at sites like www.surveyclub.com. So, I spent the next few hours signing up not just to surveyclub.com, but about 10 other free survey sites that are linked with it.

2 days have gone by and I finally got my first free survey pay off. For a 2 week participation on a panel about coffee, I would be rewarded with 20 cups of coffee, and a free coffee grinder. I need only supply my credit card in order to pay for the shipping and handling charges. Too bad for me, I only drink tea.

I will be providing weekly updates on my progress, so make sure to check back

Surveying Clients About Your Website

In a previous article, I talked about determining when and if a website should be redesigned. One of the suggestions I made was that to help you determine if your website should be redesigned is to send a survey to your top fifty clients or so.

I thought I would go ahead and list some sample questions that could be included on such a survey. Keep in mind that this survey can be used not only to determine if your website needs to be redesigned, but also to determine generally how effective your website is.

I suggest the following comments/questions be answered on a 1-5 scale, where 1 means strongly disagree, 3 means neutral and 5 means strongly agree. An N/A option could be included as well. You should also include a section for comments at the bottom.

* I find it easy to navigate the website. * The content on the site is appropriate. * I find the site's content interesting. * The site's design looks dated. * I like the site's color scheme. * The site should be more interactive. * The site design is appropriate for the subject matter and content. * The title of the site is appropriate placed on each page. * The header of the site is an appropriate size. * The amount of space the navigation takes up is appropriate. * There are too many images on the site. * The site takes too long to load. * I will visit this site again.

In addition to those questions, the following may help as well.

* I visit the site: A. Less than once a month B. 1-2 times a month C. 2-5 times a month D. 5-10 times a month E. More than 10 times a month F. I have no idea

* I have recommended or talked about something on the site to: A. No one B. 1-5 people C. 6-15 people D. 15-30 people E. More than 30 people F. I have no idea

* I spend the most time in the following section of the site: A. Section 1 Name B. Section 2 Name C. Section 3 Name ... Z. I have no idea

* List five other, similar websites to ours that you frequently visit.

* List five things you'd like to see on our site.

* If you had to eliminate one section of our website, what section would it be?

* Where did you first hear about our website?

* Have you ever clicked on an advertisement that was displayed on our site?

There will probably be questions that are specific to your website that you should also ask. An arcade might ask whether the survey taker prefers arcade games or redemption games. A news publication might ask if the survey taker also receives a hard copy of the newspaper or magazine.

If it is possible, you should send out paper copies of the survey, but also make an online version available. Make sure you have the same questions and options in both places.

In addition to sending the survey to your clients, readers and/or customers, give them incentive to fill it out. Tell them they will be entered into some sort of drawing for filling out the survey. Make sure you include space for their name, address, phone number and email address so you'll know who turned in what survey.

Once you get the surveys, use Excel or a similar program to gather and analyze the data. Then you will know some ways in which you can improve your site.

Disappointed with Paid Surveys Programs? Read this

Have you noticed the tremendous amount of websites promising lists of Paid Survey companies that will generate a good amount of money only for filling out their surveys?

This Membership website usually charges from $19.99 to sometimes even $39.99 in order to have access to these lists.

The problem with most of this websites is that their lists are sometimes outdated or the paid surveys companies do not accept more aplications, etc, etc. I know plenty of people that paid a lot of money joining these sites and never gain a return for their investments.

The good news is that you don't have to pay ever again for these paid survey companies and the truth is that you can really get paid for filling out surveys online, go shopping, go to restaurants, try products, etc. I've been doing this for more than 2 years and it really works. Just a short amount of time is invested, and you are paid for your opinion.... isn't that terrific!! I encorauge you to look for information on this. I personally have information avialable in my Newsletter that you can use to start making money with these programs and it's FREE!

Something to keep in mind:

It can take a few days or even longer to start receiving paid survey invitations. A lot depends on your demographics. Please keep in mind that you will not qualify for every online survey. Some paid surveys are targeted to to specific details, such as your gender, the zip code you live in, etc.

This is one of the reasons I highly recommend that you get registered with multiple survey sites. In doing so you'll receive more survey invitations and thus you'll be able to do more paid surveys online. But most important of all: Never Give up! This is really happening out there, why not get a piece of the pie?? I am makeing a living with this program and you can too, just keep looking for Free information. Good Luck!

Why Online Paid Surveys Work?

Hundreds of web surfers these days are subscribing to paid survey websites. Many of these are also making a few handy dollars every week or month. Paid Survey is now a big business and is getting bigger every day. So why would a company pay these dollars to the web surfers? Obvious they are getting money from somewhere. Paid Survey website owners are certainly not doing charity. So then by which way do these site owners pay their staff, pay the site members and still make a handsome profit. Lets try to demystify the mystery, which surrounds this business.

Paid Survey sites are primarily of two types - 1. Paid Survey site database 2. The actual Paid Survey site

The first type in itself does not conduct surveys. They are merely directories of the Paid Survey sites. Most of them would have links which when clicked, takes user to the actual paid survey pages of a different site. They make money by two ways; first is they get paid for keeping the reference and links to the actual Paid Survey site owners and secondly some of them charge a registration fee to access their directories. Hence if you are paying to register to these directories, remember that they are not going to pay you anything. They would simply help you to find and navigate to the actual Paid Survey sites. Ideally, if you are a new Pair Survey worker then you should start with searching Paid Survey sites on your own through one of the search engines or register at a free Paid Survey site directory.

The actual Paid Survey sites host surveys on various topics. They could be conducting survey on some newly launched product or an advertising promotion. Most of the times the surveys are carried out for some manufacturing or service company. They often want to know their customer preferences and behavior. The Paid Survey site does the job for them and gets paid in return. Some site owners also help the consumer companies in analyzing the data and generate statistical reports. Some of the returns they pass on to the survey takers. Some dubious survey site owners pass on their member contact information to other companies. These companies then send mail promoting their products. This is one of the channel by which spam reaches your mailbox. Well known Paid Survey sites also make money by advertising others products or services. Quiet a few Paid Survey sites, this days charge a small registration fee for the new members joining the site to take surveys. This too adds to their revenues.

All the above ensures that both the Paid Survey Directory sites and the actual Paid Survey sites thrive on the Wonderland of Internet.

How Online Surveys Can Make You Money?

Have you heard of the websites that offer payment in lieu of taking online surveys? Yes this is true. Anyone who has recently browsed the avenues of work-at-home jobs must have seen such alluring ads. It must have made you wonder? how online surveys can make you money. I am here to explain you all that. So, keep reading.

In fact, the online surveys include the whole process that claims to help people to earn money. For that, first you need to register with the website and then file out for consumer surveys. Whether you can earn money out of them or not, is altogether a different story.

The Internet these days is full of such websites that offer to pay their visitors for filling the surveys. As you register on the website, they ask you to fill out a questionnaire that lists your individual ?consumer preferences? and ?interests?. Once you are through with it, you will be requested to wait till they make contact with you for the apt survey.

Do companies actually pay money to know your favorite brand of dog biscuits or how much time you spend viewing a particular television programme? According to the grapevine however, the money doesn?t come to you always. The company that seeks for consumer information will directly pay the survey company
, who will pile up the survey details and statistics. A very little amount out of it, if it is any thing, is transferred to the persons who had filled out the online surveys.

If you seriously want to make money through online surveys, you really need to invest your time and money to search for the companies who actually pay money. The legitimate online surveys from genuine companies take quite a long time. They make you think and then give valid answers to fill out the form. The companies do advertise boastfully, but most of them actually end up not paying.

There will also be some companies who will offer you points for incurring their online surveys. You can save up these points for the exchange of money. Imagine the little mouse of your computer could be worth more than 500 points! But the reality of the situation is also that you may get just two to three points per survey.

Some companies enter the survey fillers in a drawing after they complete the survey. The chances of anyone winning these drawings enough number of times or earning part time or full time income are actually very slim. If you will spend your worthy hours filling the online surveys and get a little sum of money as compensation, do you think it is fair?

In your search for the genuine companies, beware of those companies who may require you to give money to get a list of the online survey websites who really pay. If any website asks you for money to let you take online surveys, it can instantly be considered as a scam. You must avoid such sites at all the costs.

Online surveys can get you fun and money both but only when they are genuine. If you consider the online surveys as a source of good income or employment, honey better get a career switch!

Tips on Taking Paid Surveys

The web is filled with hundreds of sites, which offer cash, rewards, gifts for taking surveys. The surveys are often simple and targeted at common man. And their are millions of web surfers who think that taking Paid Surveys is a very good and easy way to make some money.

Well, there is only little truth in this. Not all paid survey sites are genuine. Their are a few who do pay to their subscribers for taking the surveys. It takes certain research and experience to find this sites. Proper planning and perseverance can help in your quest to make money through this route. A few tips can surely help in this quest.

Firstly, you should make an email account with a good email website. Ensure that you have sufficient space available on the site. Also check that the mails received from the Paid Survey sites are not blocked or labeled as spam by the email service provider. Always use this email to subscribe to Paid Survey sites.

The next step is to find genuine Paid Survey sites. Surf the web and try to find a site, which is in the business of paid surveys for considerable amount of time. Read the testimonials of its subscribers. Also a good site would have tie-ups with payment sites like Pay Pal to facilitate easy transfer of payments. Also these sites may require you to pay a one time or annual registration fee. Read the conditions related to this carefully. To be on safe side, surfers who are new to this should start with either one or two sites. Never send your registration fee or any other payment through cash. Also, if paying by credit card, ensure that the site has proper security certificates from companies like Verisign.

Surf the site and carefully read the legal disclaimers, terms and conditions. Often paid survey companies mention Guaranteed Payments. They may also display document images as proofs. Many of this are fake claims or proofs. Beware of such sites. Such a site would also fake subscriber testimonials.

Once you are subscribed to a paid survey website, fill the surveys with interest and true data. Remember if subscribers don't fill genuine data in the survey forms, the consumer companies (who finally use the data) would get incorrect information. They would eventually stop paying the Paid Survey websites and that only would hit you.

Lastly keep in mind that there is no free lunch. Stay alert of the changing terms and conditions on the site. Keep checking for the site reviews on various forums. If you are alert, there would never be a fraud or scam and you would keep making money.

$300 to $1,000 a month? Did you know you can make good money
filling out online surveys sitting at home in your pajamas?

Did you know companies in the United States spend over $250
Billion Dollars a year trying to convice consumers to buy their
products? That money is spent on advertising as well as
research. If you would like to get paid for taking online
surveys and participating in focus groups or doing phone surveys
then you can make money at home.

Getting paid for surveys is not anything new. For years
companies asked people quesions in malls, on street corners or
by telephone solicitaion. This for the most part did not work
well. I don't know about you, but I walked down the other side
of the mall to avoid getting asked questions by a surveyor. I
never took the time to talk to them on the phone either. I can
remember filling out surveys and mailing them in for rebates or
some small amount of cash.

The internet has changed all of that. Now you can go online and
find surveys you are willing to participate at your leisure. The
nice thing about getting paid to complete surveys is you can do
them around your own schedule. Morning, noon or night there are
companies willing to pay you for your opinion.

Realistically you can expect to average $10-$15 per survey. You
won't get rich, but this can help you make some extra money and
can go up depending on the amount of time you ant to put into
it. If you are interested in making money at home doing surveys

There are a tremendous amount of online survey companies to
choose from and unfortunately many of them are only interested
in taking your money not helping you make money. For that reason
we are not going to give you a long list of survey companies,
but rather give you one that has a solid reputation for helping
people get started. Here's who I would suggest you start with
getting paid to take surveys online:
