Tips for Making Money Online with Paid Email and Survey Programs

We've spent years searching the internet to find ways to earn money the easy way. What we have found is that with all the resources available (Try Googling 'Make money online') trying to earn money on the internet can be very frustrating. Of the multitude of sites where money is offered for surveys and emails, some are vague and most are very misleading.

Taking surveys, for instance, can be very profitable. But you have to know which survey programs will actually pay you and which will just spam you with ads. So you have to find a program that is legitimate. You see, many 'paid survey sites' are just product companies trying to sell you something. But finding a legitimate program will not get you very far either. At an average of around $20 per survey (most surveys only take 10-15 minutes), that's "only" $40 to $80 per month. It's easy money, but that probably won't make a big difference in your lifestyle, right?

Consider the following scenario, which is what I recommend: 1. You register with 20-30 of the best paid survey and paid email websites (this costs you nothing) 2. Within a week you start receiving more paid survey invitations and paid emails than you can handle 3. You pick and choose only the best opportunities that fit your schedule. 4. You start making hundreds, and even thousands, of dollars a month!

But there is a problem with this. You see, you have no way of knowing which the top survey programs are and which are just scams. Trying to figure out which of the millions of email and survey sites are the best is very time-consuming and a waste of your effort.

Some things you should consider when signing up for paid email and survey programs: 1. Amount paid for each survey and email. 2. Email and survey volume. 3. Company privacy policies - I.E. they will not sell your email to other companies.

You see, it is possible to make money on the internet - As much as you want, but how do you know which of the thousands are legitimate? Sure, you could just search and sign up for all of the ones you can find, but that could take a lot of time. Besides, by the time you found the legitimate ones, you'd already have more spam than you'll ever know what to do with. So, save yourself some time, and find some free resources on the internet that offer complete lists of the best programs out there. Many people have gone through the painstaking effort of weeding out what is bogus and what will truly make you money. So, search the internet for these lists and start making money online!

Paid Surveys - Why You Shouldn't Pay Anything To Do Surveys For Money?

You have probably discovered by now some sites that offer you the opportunity to earn money by doing paid surveys online. These sites claim you can make significant monthly income and can provide you with a list of market research sites you must join in order to receive surveys and get paid. The only catch is that you must pay some fee (usually 20$ to 30$) in order to lay your hands on their list of "proven" market research companies.

Creating a database of survey sites does take a lot of work, effort and time and it may sound reasonable to set up a price for it and many people agree with this. If you do appreciate this work and wish to buy this list, feel free to do so but at least read this article to know what you should seek on such sites and how to determine if you are on a legitimate site, or not. Use your own judgement. I, for myself, prefer free opportunities.

According to some online resources relating paid surveys, no respectful company would ever ask for any sign-up fee for granting you the opportunity to work for them. Such a company would have no need to conceal their address and telephone number on their website.

As you can see, legitimate membership survey sites should be free and should not conceal their street address and telephone number on their websites. Since most of these sites are not free, they should have a correct contact information and state on their websites or in their terms the requirements for participation and the real possibilities of making money. They should also have a refund policy in case you don't earn anything and honor it. You'd be surprised as how many refunds are not honored.

That is why you should do a research on your own about a site you wish to purchase a list from. Try to find everything you can about positive and negative experiences and then decide what will be the best thing to do. Especially check if they honor their refund policies. There are a lot of scams out there.

In my opinion I don't believe you should pay anything to access these lists and here is why. Although it is possible to earn a lot of money and cover your investment "fee", it is also possible never to earn any money. Why is that?

Paid surveys are not for anyone. They are conducted by a market research companies on behalf of some large company seeking to improve sales and willing to invest certain sum of money in the market research. Since they are spending quite large amounts of money, they can't afford to waste it, so they will target their research to population which brings them most profit. So if you do not live in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, or some other developed country, you'll probably never make any money from surveys. Even survey companies that claim to be available worldwide are very often restricted to some countries.

Besides your demographic location on most survey sites you have to fill in your profile based on your age, interests, education, income, etc. The number of surveys you will get will mostly depend on your profile. If your profile fits the required target population you'll get more surveys and more chances to earn money. It is also possible that your profile will not fit in and you'll rarely have an opportunity to complete paid surveys.

There are also other reasons why you shouldn't pay anything to access market research companies:

You will be paying for something you can easily have for FREE! These membership sites are only selling information anyone can get. Sites that conduct market research are not hidden. They need as many possible members as they can find, so they will not ask for any fee. You can join all of them and never pay a dime.

Many market research companies have affiliate programs to help them recruit new members. Therefore if someone introduces you to a survey site, he/she will get paid for it and there is no real justification in asking for any more money from you.

These sites usually don't have a refund policy, so if you don't earn anything with surveys, you won't be able to ask for a refund. It is more likely that they have a refund policy, but do not honor it. This is typical for scam sites and that is why it's very important to do some researching first.

There are a lot of free lists of survey sites you can join and earn money if you qualify. You can test them out and see if they work for you or not and you won't have to pay anything. Here is one of them: http://www.nettrafficsecrets.com/surveys/list_of_surveys.html

You probably won't earn enough to quit your daily job with paid surveys, but they can help you get some extra money. And remember - you don't have to pay anything to access these sites.

Paid Surveys ? Why You Shouldn?t Pay Anything To Do Surveys For Money?

The Advantages, Considerations and Risks of Employee Satisfaction Surveys

Although there are distinct advantages to conducting regular employee satisfaction surveys online - there can also be risks.

Listed here are some of the main advantages, considerations and the possible risks to conducting employee satisfaction surveys online.

    Advantages

Identify Problems - Surveys are can be very effective in identify problems areas before they become serious, especially those that are hidden from senior management.

Working Environment - From something small like a broken chair to the more serious problem of sick building syndrome that can result in personnel experiencing headaches; eye, nose, and throat irritation; a dry cough; dry or itchy skin; dizziness and nausea; and difficulty in concentrating. Surveys allow environmental problems to be identified in a measured and controlled manner.

Remuneration & Benefits - Measure and monitor how satisfied personnel are with their remuneration and benefits.

Mood and Moral - Provides a simple but effective method to measure and monitor the mood and moral of an organization.

Benchmark - In the same way that an organization will consider their financial position by comparison with previous years, so the regular use of online surveys will allow an organization to monitor and measure their progress and development in non-financial terms.

Processes & Procedures - As businesses evolve some of the traditional processes and procedures can become antiquated, personnel are often the first to know and the last to be asked. Businesses evolve and the business processes need to be regularly re-aligned

Training - Lack of proper training is a common cause of dissatisfaction among employees and can lead to more serious problems such as stress.

Communication - For an organization to run efficiently good internal and external communications are essential, surveys can provide a method to help organizations to monitor and measure how well an organization communicates.

Goals and Objectives - Surveys can measure and monitor the extent that the personnel are aligned with the senior management's business goals and objectives.

Cost Effective - Using an online survey service such as www.surveygalaxy.com survey are quick and easy to create, simple to deploy and will provide real-time results.

Compliance - To properly comply with an ever increasing array of regulations the modern organization needs to be able to disseminate information throughout the organization and ensure, through records, that the information has been received, and importantly, understood. Online surveys provide organization with a cost effective method to meet many of their obligations.

Keeping the Initiative - It is always better for management to ask than be told. By conducting regular employee surveys management are able to keep the initiative in trying to identify problems that may otherwise manifest into demands.

    Considerations

Management Backing - A survey that is both sanctioned and has the support of senior management will go some way in ensuring that any action required, based on the survey findings, will be implemented.

Ask the right questions - Consider careful the questions being asked. If employees feel that the survey is just trying to tick the right boxes the survey could backfire.

A survey that is to be conducted annually should try and ask questions that will provide senior management with an overall health check of the organization.

Avoid questions that will only apply to specific departments or personnel. If some areas of the organization require detailed investigation consider running separate one-off surveys that can be targeted at specific personnel.

Incentive - Most employees will feel that by being able to give their opinions that they are already stakeholders in the exercise and will be happy to participate in the survey as they will expect to benefit from the process.

However, some incentive may help improve the overall response rate or could be used to encourage early participation.

Smaller incentives could be handed out to all employees or all participating employees could be entered into a lottery to receive a more substantial prize.

Anonymous - The decision to allow respondents to remain anonymous or not needs careful consideration. A survey that is conducted anonymously may allow employees to be more candid, however, anonymity may encourage some individuals to make wild accusations that can not be substantiated and cause considerable concern. When in doubt it is often better to keep everything 'on the record' rather than 'off'.

Where survey respondents are known there is the opportunity to chase for surveys that have not been completed and also to follow up on some issues directly with those employees who have raised them as problems.

Comments - Keep free text comments to a minimum because they are difficult and time consuming to measure and analyze.

Consider limiting free text comments to one at the end of the survey or, in the case of surveys that are not being conducted anonymously, allow for a post-survey follow-up to obtain more information where additional and more specific detail is required.

    Risks

Management - Some managers can regard any form of employee consultation as a sign of weakness and may have a tendency to dismiss out of hand any negative comment.

Warts and All - A survey is likely to reveal warts and all. Senior management should be prepared for discovering that the top down view can differ from the bottom up view and that ignorance, of any identified problems, can no longer be used as an excuse.

Non-Action - Many employees will invest time and effort in participating in a survey and their hopes and expectations will be raised. Any post-survey non-action is likely to promote cynicism and jeopardize any future initiatives to obtain employee feedback.

Management should formally respond to the issues raised in surveys even if the demands of employees are not to be met. If senior management agree to address and resolve some issues then action needs to have started before any further survey is scheduled.

Can Cause Problems - Where surveys reveal, or bring problems, to the surface there could be a tendency for senior management to blame the messenger.

    Summary

The benefits of conducting regular online employee surveys can be considerable, but for surveys to be effective important upfront considerations need to be made. Although the process of conducting a survey can be therapeutic in itself it is the post-survey analysis, response and action that will ultimately determine how useful and effective the process has been.

Using Surveys to Gather Valuable Customer Data

The more you know about your customers, the better you'll understand them. And the better you understand them, the better you'll be able to sell to them.

One of the best ways to collect this information is by creating a quick online survey.

The data you collect from customer surveys can be invaluable to the operation of your business.

Survey results allow you to examine your marketing strategy and ask important questions like:

    - Are you promoting the fact that you have a huge product range, when what your customers actually want is extended operating hours?

    - Are you promoting your products as technically superior when what your customers really care about its ease-of-use?

    - Are you heavily promoting cheap prices when what your customers are more concerned about is customer support?

If you take the time to ask, you'll be surprised at how helpful your customers can be.

To begin with, the two key areas you want to explore are Demographics and Psychographics.

Demographics identify 'Who is your customer?', and Psychographics asks 'Why does your customer buy?'

When collecting demographic information, you're trying to find out what the profile of your ideal customer is. When collecting psychographic information you're trying to determine what motivates your ideal customer to buy.

Here is some of the information you'll want to gather from your customers.

    Demographic Questions

    - Are they male or female? - How old are they? - Are they married, single or divorced? - What is their average household income? - Where do they spend the majority of their time online? - What are their interests?

    Psychographic Questions

Of the people who purchased your product or service...

    - What do they think of your product or service? - Why did they buy your product or service? - What do they like about your product or service? - What do they dislike about your product or service? - How do they think you could improve your product or service?

Of the people who didn't purchase your product or service...

    - Why didn't they buy from you? - Do they feel you are overpriced? Underpriced? - How did they say you could improve your offer? - How do they think you could improve your product or service?

What's the Best Time to Collect Customer Information?

The best time to collect this valuable customer information is at the time of purchase (or directly after). The other option is to offer some form of an incentive in exchange for filling out the survey.

What Sort of Incentive Should I Offer?

Remember, you'll get a much better response to your email surveys if you offer something of value in exchange for their personal information.

This can be in the form of a:

    - Free report - Prize - Discount off their next order - Offer with a high perceived value

Survey Determines Which MLM Companies Have Most Loyalty from Distributors?and Which is Actually the Best and Why

Hi, I am Gary Konigsberg of Los Angeles. I wanted to confirm that my chosen multilevel marketing opportunity was indeed the best of all the competitor internet and offline-based multilevel marketing opportunities before I gave it a full go at building it. So I decided to go to the top mlm online forums and survey the people there as to which companies had captured their loyalty and why.

I left the door open to be corrected in case anything truly exceptional came across his plate. The results of his postings at the top mlm forums can be found at the website in the resource box below. After taking a good look, I didn?t find anything more exceptional near my "plate" than my healthy coffee opportunity.

After getting many answers in different locations I ams now more confident than ever that his healthy coffee business is the best home based business ever.

It seems that the most popular at these forums are Success University and Usana. They are great programs I am sure but they don?t have the numerous advantages offered by healthy coffee. Most notably, their market is smaller and the response that you get when you try to promote the programs to people is one of unfamiliarity. So you have to do a lot of enlightenment. Whereas the market for the Healthy Coffee biz has the following advantages.

World?s second largest traded commodity second only to oil
Our coffee tastes better than oil. :)
    Actually it tastes great.
All the other nutritional juice companies and such offer great health benefits from their product but they are all competing for a share of that same market.
Our market is pretty much everyone you meet.
And there is no sales resistance.
People are delighted to find out that there is coffee that is good for them.
How good? Our coffee has less caf than decaf,
It gives a nice energy boost that lasts throughout the day, not just until the next cup and without the jitters. Also promotes better sleep and?
balances the ph of the body so that all systems and organs of the body get optimized.
Our compensation and bonuses plan is great and you can be a business associate for $100.
And we have had over half a billion in North American sales in our first year alone.
We have been overseas for 10 years.
We are launching a set and forget system in one week?s time so anyone can make money whether they are pro marketers or not."

I invite all who are seeking a fun and lucrative home based business with real benefit to all to help make a better world through healthy coffee. He further invites current business associates of other home based business companies to match up their present home based business against what they currently have. Take an honest look and be willing to make a change if anything better comes along. Such as healthy coffee!

Of course the real story here is that there is now such a thing as healthy coffee. With many Americans poisoning themselves with caffeine loaded coffee 2-5 times/day (one top chain has 300 mgs of caffeine in a single cup!) this is exciting news indeed! What makes this coffee healthy is an herb that has been used in Oriental medicine for 4000 years! Known as the King of the Herbs or Reishi (latin name ganoderma lucidurm) this amazing coffee has less caffeine than decaffeinated but still gives a great energy lift - one that lasts a whole day, not just until your next cup but without the jitters! It also has many tests showing it is beneficial to all conditions, systems and organs of the body? circulatory, digestive, elimination, respiratory, nerve systems all benefit, results have been obtained in treating high blood pressure, high and low blood sugar, prostate, liver and even mental health conditions. It normalizes the entire system and optimizes performance across all areas of biological function. It even detoxifies and promotes a good night?s sleep. This is why it has been known as the king of the herbs for 4000 years in the Orient. So this is exciting news for one and all.

To join me in my quest to make a better world through healthy coffee visit the site in the resource box below where you will also find out the incredible health benefits that this healthy coffee does offer.

How To Maximize Your Paid Survey Efforts

    Copyright ? Robbie Fanucchi
    http://www.RJFanucchi.com

There are a lot of home business experts who claim the Internet paid surveys trend is a giant scam. Unfortunately, they are right. Over 90 percent of the survey companies are nothing more than an attack on your pocket book. They ask for a fee up front and provide you with outdated contact lists, poor customer service and connections to companies that pay little or companies that use your survey as an opportunity to SPAM you with solicitations.

However, the paid survey field is no different than any other field of business. There are frauds and there are legitimate opportunities. With that said, there are several survey companies that provide a great opportunity to make money.

One such company is SurveyScout. Out of 25 reviewers, SurveyScout ranked #1 by 12 of the reviewers. SurveyPlatinum ranked #1 with 3 reviewers and GetCashForSurveys also received a #1 ranking with 3 of the reviewers.

Since SurveyScout came out on top, we contacted the administration to get some advice on how to make SurveyScout a success. Here are the six points they gave.

    1. It takes a couple months to establish yourself with the higher paying surveys. Once you have established yourself as a reliable survey worker, your chances of getting the higher paying surveys increases. SurveyScout points to Deborah Casey as a perfect example of this. Deborah has reached a point where she makes $2600 a month off of surveys.

    2. SurveyScout highly recommends setting up a separate e-mail account to handle all your survey related e-mails. This avoids your important survey opportunities from getting mixed up with your regular mail. You don't want to miss any important survey assignments. SurveyScout has suggestions on where to get free e-mail accounts.

    3. The faster you can find registration pages and fill them out, the more survey companies you will have signed up for. They suggest becoming fast at locating registration pages.

    4. SurveyScout definitely suggests using the free automatic form filling software they provide. By following the direct links to registration pages and using the auto form filling software, you can sign up for lots of companies fast. This will not only maximize your time, but your profits as well.

    5. Don't waste your time filling out registrations for survey companies you don't qualify for. For example, many companies are looking for applicants from specific states or countries. SurveyScout says they help their members by clearly noting if a survey company has certain restrictions.

    6. Make sure you pick only survey companies who pay cash. Many companies only pay in prizes or gift certificates. The catch is they don't tell you this upfront. SurveyScout says they clearly let their members know if the company pays in cash, cash and prizes or prizes only.

SurveyScout wanted to make sure we stress the different types of work they offer. They recommend determining which field interests you most and putting your focus there. The types of work available with SurveyScout are: discussion groups, focus groups, mall intercepts, mail surveys, mystery shopping, one on one interviews, on-line surveys, phone surveys, product testing and taste testing.

While there are a lot of frauds in the paid surveys category, there is still an opportunity to make good money. SurveyScout continues to rank #1 with home business experts more than any other company.

If you do your research first, getting paid for surveys is a great way to earn extra money from the comfort of your home.

My Payday Loan Survey shows Customers are happy about payday loans

My Payday Loan - part of MEM Consumer Finance Ltd ? held its first customer survey with one hundred customers being asked for their comments on the cash advance business.

The comments ranged from praise for the ease of the service to dispelling some of the myths about short term borrowing. A selection of the customer comments follow, with customers? details excluded or amended for the sake of privacy.

?I first came across My Payday Loan after a friend suggested I look there for going out cash at the end of the month rather than coming to him all the time! Using My Payday Loan meant that I could go out over the weekend rather than stay in when all my friends were having fun. As I was able to pay it all back in one go, the charging structure on the loan was very easy to understand and cost less than if I?d used cheques to go over my overdraft limit?.

    I.G, 22, Bedford

?I normally budget for my month really well ? I know what I?ve got going in and coming out so I know how much cash I?ve left to spend. That was until my car got pranged at a junction and I had to find ?100 excess or be off the road until payday. Fortunately, I?d read about My Payday Loan on a press release (I work in financial PR) and looked them up on the web. I applied online, sent my paperwork across and was called later to be told my money would be in the account by close of business that day. It was amazingly quick and efficient and cost me less than having to miss work for a couple of days while I arranged an extension on my overdraft before getting a hire car. Thank you, My Payday Loan for being there when I needed?.

    J.M, 31, Stockport

?My girlfriend saw this great deal for a weekend away but neither of us had the cash to afford it then and there ? we?d both been shopping for new clothes during the month so we?d spent our spare money and were up to our credit card limits. I don?t know why but I did a web search for ?money before payday? and there were quite a few sites. My Payday Loan was by far the most professional and so I applied to them. That professionalism continued when I was called by their customer services team to talk about my needs and confirm I was approved for the loan I needed. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic weekend away together and I was able to pay it all back in one lump sum. It was all really easy as they took the payment automatically as agreed, so I wasn?t bothered by extra phone calls or waiting for cheques to clear before accessing my own money the following month?.

    L.R, 29, Cardiff

?I borrowed ?150 from My Payday Loan to give my son when he went travelling. Unfortunately, I was unexpectedly made redundant just before my next payday and so it would?ve been difficult to pay me back in full. I was nervous because you never know about hidden charges or other things loan companies might do. But it wasn?t like that with My Payday Loan. I called their office and was put straight through to a Customer Service Adviser. She explained that I could defer the loan for one month by paying the interest now and then paying the loan in full with interest the following month. This helped but things hadn?t got better by the next month and I thought that this time they?d probably start charging me late fees and the like. They didn?t though but instead helped me break down the payments and gave me the details of a debt management company who could help me in the long term. I felt like they really listened to me and wanted to help me ? something I don?t even get in my own bank now. My Payday Loan not only helped me in the short term but also helped me find the right people to deal with my long term needs. I couldn?t recommend them highly enough?.

    H.M, 47, Maidenhead

Applying for a payday loan could not be easier ? anyone finding themselves caught unexpectedly short before payday just needs to go online to Payday loans and fill out the bespoke application form which is then automatically processed. Survey Yourself Before Going Into Business

    1. Why should there be anyone would do business with you?

This could be the very first question that you must ask yourself before anything else. You got to demand yourself to an answer to this. Why the heck on earth would anybody pay for this "Junk" you're selling? Yup, "Junk", as I phrased it. It doesn't matter how good your product is to be, to the eye of others, it's just another piece of product in a sea pool of other similar products.

So, still be very proud of your product or service? Truly you're 100% proud of it? You truthfully and deeply believe people would be dumb by NOT buying from you?

Well...you passed the first barrier! You're ready to start go to next stage.

    2. The basic business needs 3 things: Lawyer, CPA, and Creative or crazy fellow, which could very well be you.

Almost every business gets themselves for the first two. It's understandably so. Good creative person are really hard to find, hard to manage, and you'll never sure of what you're paying for.

Every established and sizeable business knows the creative side plays a heavier weight than the lawyer and CPA. CPA's and lawyers can help you when you are up there. But at the early stage when your business is still an infant, your business live or die depending on it's business branding activities in areas like business identities, logos, marketing campaign, advertising copy and business slogans.

Now, are you NUTS enough? Have people been calling you NUTS? If so, you are ready for the next stage! Do give yourself a "Cheers"!

    3. Singing for Your Own? You Got To Promote Yourself In Every Possible Way.

Do all of them. Yes, Do whatever possible to get your business name to be up there! Get your Business Brand being noticed by others. There more the merrier!

Business can just comes and go so fast before anybody could hears of them. People are busy, what do they care? They don't care about you and your business. Why should they care? Get serious. Do everything you can possibly and reasonably afford to do. But beware; you must not mislead others because it'll backfire quickly enough to wipe your business off.

Do you "Sing for your own self"? Then you've passed! Move on to next stage...

    4. Big Decision: Could You Win The Competition.

It's very likely that you're entering a crowded business market when you first started. Take a hard and closer look at what other fellows are doing; what your competitors are doing right now could affect your business greatly.

At this stage, you got to decide: Are you going for "Head to Head" fight? Competing on better quality? Crazier pricing strategy? Extra Mile Service Level? Better Marketing Campaign? or what else? Or you would avoid all that, and create you own niche, where you are the leader?

If you decided to be offering the same or very much similar product at the same price, but your marketing materials doesn't look half as good as your competitors...hey, you're in deep trouble! If you're charging half compare to others, then it's still alright to "Look" cheap, simply because you are the "Cheaper" alternative where people are looking for.

    5. Marketing is basically just a matter Perception.

"Perception" is just another fancy word for thoughts. The thought by the public has in mind all about you and your "Good" or "Bad" business. Good salesmen control the perception more on personal level like putting on neat suit, very nice smile and sincere voice, firm handshake...etc.

And your business marketing campaign need to strive to achieve equivalent level of effects. And it needs to be at a more abstract level by means of having an attractive Business Name, Eye Catching Business Graphics, Professionally dressed-up staff. Any things that just might seduce and persuade a potential visitor to become a paying customer.

    6. Your Business Identity; Your Business Equity.

The Business Name, the Logo, the projected Business Look, the public's perception, recognition, or even affection if there is; these are critical to business success. Big businesses routinely pay big buck like million dollars for these aspects for the business.

Your Business Identity must be well organized to target at desired market. It's what termed as the "Face" side, the side which public always sees first. Work on refining it so it works wonders. Improve it to get better and even better, and then protect it, and treasured like your beloved!

Yup, there are so many people who just bought a ready business. But every time they run a new marketing campaign, they tend to fall into trap of projecting a different business image and look. Really, don't ever make such mistake like an amateur.

Consistently stick on to the business branding strategy that your have chosen on the very early stage. This is your Business Equity. By keep changing the business look, you'll get the public confused, and worse still if they see that you don't even have the basic respect for your business identity.

Don't destroy the business equity; you need to be utmost concerned with your business image to the public. It has its own personality. It has to stand out from the rest. It has to send clear signal to the targeted market: "Here We are, Come To Us", "Get Us Today".

Reactivate Lapsed Donors With A Direct Mail Fundraising Survey

A proven way to reactivate lapsed donors is to ask them why they have stopped giving.

You can do this with a survey that you enclose in your mailing. Or you can leave space on the reply device for a few questions. According to Stephen Hitchcock, in his book, Open Immediately! Straight Talk on Direct Mail Fundraising, asking lapsed donors why they are no longer giving will generate some useful answers, and a sizeable percentage of the donors will mail back a gift.

You can use this new information to prevent other donors from lapsing. Review again the reasons that donors stop giving, found earlier in this handbook, to think up the kinds of questions you can ask in your survey to elicit each donor?s reason for dropping support.

If you prefer, make the survey entirely qualitative, and ask questions that require original answers and not a simple checking off of a box on the survey form.

Whichever method of survey you employ, use the survey questions to discover the otherwise unknown?why your donors lapsed. Maybe the fault lies with you. Maybe it lies with the donor. Maybe the economy is at fault. You will never know unless you ask.

One advantage of a survey, if worded well, is that the questions themselves inspire the donor again to support your cause. Let?s say, for example, that your organization lobbies the federal government to ban handguns. Your donors, even the ones who lapse, are people concerned about handgun violence to some degree. In your survey, you could include questions like these:

    1. True of False? An average of five children are killed each day in gun-related accidents and suicides.

    2. True of False? 40% of American households with children have guns.

    3. True of False? A gun in the home is 22 times more likely to be used in an unintentional shooting, than to be used to injure or kill in self-defense.

As you can imagine, these survey questions are likely to provoke the same anger among decent, concerned lapsed donors that moved them to mail you their first and successive gifts. Survey questions like this prompt lapsed donors to contemplate your work again, thing again about who you help, and ponder the need you meet, and the role that the lapsed donor has in making the world a better place by giving again.

The 4 RulesThe 4 Rules To Make Money With Paid Survey Web Sites To Make Money With Paid Survey Web Sites

Ok, let's be honest, you are not reading this article unless you want to make money taking Paid Surveys online. Listen, there is a secret that not many people know. This secret will allow you to possibly make thousands each month from the comfort of your own home. The secret...pick the right Paid Survey service. That's right most people signing up for these survey web sites sign up for inferior web sites. The key is to find the right ones.

How do you find the right site? Easy, only pick those sites with the 4 Rules below and you will be making money quickly.

    * Only Use Membership Fee Sites - That's right, I said it. Free sites just do not match up. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not telling the truth. These sites are there to make money by matching companies up with us. They bring the company's surveys to us and make their money by charging us a one-time fee. But there is an upside...since these sites charge us a fee, they attract many more companies. These companies can post their surveys for free, not having to pay money to the web site. More surveys mean more money. Free sites usually don't have many surveys, and the ones they do have give out coupons.

    * Sign Up For More Than One Paid Survey Site - Again, most people selling you things on the web are not going to bold enough to tell you to pay more money. But the only way to make money with Paid Survey web sites is to sign up for as many reputable ones that you can. I figure that most web sites have 10 to 25 surveys a day that you are eligible to take. Most are short and pay a few dollars. If you sign up for 3 sites, you get anywhere from 30-75 paid surveys a day. That is about $90-$225 for about 3-7 hours a day. Those are accurate earnings potential.

    * Don't Quit - Most people pay the fees and join a few paid survey sites, but they stop taking surveys after a few days or weeks for some reason. I have no idea why, but that is the truth. Give it 2-3 months before you start getting invited to higher paying surveys. I am talking $100-$250 for a 1 hour survey. The companies do not want to send you a survey if you haven't taken the ones that were previously sent to you. You will stop receiving surveys to take and wonder why. So Don't Quit.

    * Take A Break Every Once In Awhile - When I take Paid Surveys today, I usually only do it for a few days a week. Then I take a 4 or 5 day weekend to refresh. Taking surveys all day can be monotonous, but it beats a monotonous job I would have to drive to 5 days a week. At home I can get up and go to the store, go for a walk, or take a nap if I choose to do so. If you are doing Paid Surveys part-time after your real job, don't get burned out. Please take a few days off each week and enjoy life. I know people who started like gangbusters only to burn out and stop taking surveys. Keep in mind this can be financially rewarding and addicting, but not at the expense of your family and friends.

There you have it. If you decide to go the Paid Survey web site route (and I suggest you do), follow those 4 simple rules and you will be on your way to success. About the Author

Online Survey - Paid or Free?

Online Survey - Paid or Free?

Let me begin this article by saying it is possible to complete an online survey and get paid for your opinion. It is a fact that thousands of work from home entrepreneurs are getting paid big time for completing surveys, participating in focus groups, and even to preview movie trailers!

Why would companies pay you for giving your opinion? Because they need your opinion as part of their market research to determine which products to sell and to what markets. It also helps them to improve their products to existing markets in order to improve their profit margin.

Now believe you me, the companies that pay you to complete an online survey are already making money, they just understand that doing a survey to find out what people like or dislike can make them even more profitable.

Here is where you and I come in; we fill out the online survey and get paid, we're happy and the company providing the survey gets the information they need. Win-Win! Don't you love it! (Especially the we get paid part)

The question now is how do I access these surveys and begin to make money? In order to receive offers to do an online survey or to participate in an online focus group you must be signed up and have a profile with each company. If you fit the right profile you will receive offers from them in your email.

There are hundreds of companies available but how do you find them, and how can you be sure you are not wasting your time? You must sign up with a service that will provide you with access to these companies or you will be spinning your wheels. You have 2 basic alternatives:

    1. Free Online Paid Survey Websites

There are plenty of these sites available on the web that can be located by doing a google search. The problem with many of these sites is that they provide you with access to a database of companies that may or may not be updated. Furthermore they usually come with little or no support and guidance on how to maximize your profitability; after all you get what you pay for.

    2. Online Survey Websites (fee based)

These sites charge a fee to access their compiled database of online survey companies. This is usually a one time fee of 30-35 dollars that covers access to a compiled and updated database, tips and or tutorials on how to turn your online survey venture into a profitable home business, and bonuses that are usually worth more than the access fee!

One of the top sites I have found providing this service can be found here at the below address:

    http://www.singlesource4ebooks.com/online-survey.htm

They even provide you with an instant $25.00 survey upon joining their site just to get you started! I highly recommend you take a look at what they have to offer.

So there you have it, one mans opinion. Now you can do your own due diligence and check out which method will benefit you most. One thing is for sure; online surveys can be a profitable home business that will provide a very nice part time or full time income. Here's to our success.
